1-Purpose
Arizona Waste Services ensures that our reusable biohazardous containers are properly sanitized, checked for leaks and dried. This prevents cross contamination of other bacteria and chemicals as well as provide a Sanitized Container for the customer to dispose their waste into.

2-Scope
This SOP covers the bulk of Re-Usable containers that we utilize at Customer Facilities.

3-Responsibilities
Medical Waste Services is responsible for the Sterilization of all Re-Usable containers.

4-Process
• Sharps or Bio-Container
• Saturated high temp. Water and Steam at 250-300 °F
• Cleaning and Sanitation Jog
• Bleach Solution Comprised of Bleach and Dawn Soap.
• ODOBAN Sanitizer – Disinfectant
